Pepple Street
Music Business Academy for Africa (MBAFA) proudly presents "Pepple Street", a collaborative album that brings together diverse musical talents from across Africa. The album title is inspired by the life of Fela Kuti, who once lived on Pepple Street.
This 16-track masterpiece blends traditional African rhythms with contemporary sounds, including elements of Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afrobeats. Each track tells a story, from upbeat anthems of empowerment to introspective ballads of love and loss.
The album features 9 artists, including Kvng Vidarr, Rozzz, Dela, Diyo Matalo, Wondy, Jenz Williams, Jordanstyls from Nigeria, Tamaté from Ghana, and Wendy Kay from Kenya. The album was created in collaboration with 383 members of the current MBA cohort who were divided into 9 labels to handle the business side of each artist.
With its powerful narrative and infectious beats, "Pepple Street" is a must-listen.

Jenz Williams is a versatile artist known for his Afro-rap and soulful melodies. In 2019, he left Kogi State University to pursue his passion and released "Why I Hate School" which stirred both controversy and acclaim. Jenz has released an EP and an instrumental album to his credit, with songs like "Daddy’s Princess" and "Memories" resonating with his growing fanbase. He is currently part of the MBA 2023 Talent Program, and his story is one of bold choices, artistic integrity, and a commitment to pushing boundaries.
Wondy is a talented singer-songwriter whose music blends spiritual truths with current rhythms. His style, known as "soft bop," creates an uplifting and inspiring experience. He has performed at notable events and collaborated with various artists, enjoying the creative process.
Diyo Matalo is a musician hailing from Adamawa State in Nigeria, a culturally rich region. He has traversed various parts of Northern Nigeria, and his music reflects his life's journey. He is a unique artist who has the power to captivate listeners with his style of delivery and the uplifting messages in his work. In his album Pepple Street, his artistic prowess shines through with his crisp flow and lyrical abilities, earning him a special place in the hearts of his listeners.

She secured a role as a background singer on two seasons of Coke Studio.
